A Style a Day November

I have decided to do a new hairstyle for every—single—day of November! I am hoping to show off most or all of my hair jewelry from Lilla Rose.

I am wanted to inspire you to be bold and fun with your hair trinkets as Black Friday is coming up and everything will be on sale!

Each new style will be posted here on this original post. I will add my thoughts on the style and—if necessary—a video on how to do that same style yourself.

November 1st, 2019 ~ Day 1
Since today is wash day, I have decided to go with a simple English braid decorated with a mini Flexi (the style I have is currently unavailable but I have linked a similar style) and a headband to keep my crazy baby hairs tame.

November 2nd, 2019 ~ Day 2
Saturday is the day I usually leave my hair down and take a break from my usual buns.

But, I hate having my hair in my face. Therefore, I always have it pinned back. Today, I chose to use my favorite extra-small Flexi to hold my hair out of my face.

The style of Flexi I have is currently unavailable but,  here are some other sea styles:

November 3rd, 2019 ~ Day 3
I decided to go with a simple yet quick bun today.

It's a rope braided lazy wrap bun held with a medium Flexi. I think a medium is a little too big but I, unfortunately, don’t have my small with me. You can do this bun without braiding or with any style of braid.

Here is a video on how to rope braid and do a lazy wrap bun. The exact Flexi I have is no longer available in this color but it is in gold/green and silver.

November 4th, 2019 ~ Day 4 Today, I decided to go with something super quick and simple. It is a cinnamon bun held with two u-pins going from the center out.

This style is very comfortable and secure and only takes seconds to put together. The style of u-pins I am wearing are the celtic knots in the long.

Here is a video on how to do a cinnamon bun, this bun can also be done on shorter hair.

November 5th, 2019 ~ Day 5
I decided to be a little fancier today with a dressier bun.

It is the Joyce bun by Torrin on Youtube. For my hair, I just wrap it all around the bun instead of making flowers and I have decided to take my left (bigger) section and take it back then go under the bun on the right and then the same on the right (smaller) section. This should create a crossed pattern with my hair and make it more manageable on the sides as they tend to droop a little.

This style is really comfortable even with all the pins and my added u-pin decorations. Here is the video on how to do this style.

This is the style of u-pins I used to decorate my hair. I use short u-pins for decorating. They are no longer available in this style.

November 6th, 2019 ~ Day 6
I decided to give my head a break and do a flipped ponytail.

I love using my Topsy Tail hair tool. It makes it a lot easier and gives me a smoother cleaner look.
Here is a video on how to create this style.

The headband I am wearing is no longer available as it seems they are changing to thicker headbands. Here are some similar styles to the one I am wearing as well as some of the thicker purple styles.

November 7th, 2019 ~ Day 7
I went with another simple style today since I have to do tomorrow’s style tonight for traveling.

This style is a regular Lazy Wrap Bun (LWB) just a little messy. I find that my LWBs fall if they are held with just a hair stick so I like to use a Flexi or a two-prong hair fork.

Here is a video on how to do a LWB.

The Flexi I have is unavailable but here are two similar styles: Silver dragonfly and a green/gold dragonfly.

November 8th, 2019 ~ Day 8
This style is now my favorite travel style because it holds up so well and stays out of the way. Yet, it's still cute.

I have used this style for sleeping then traveling in a car for 9 hours and it doesn’t move or change in any way, It is also VERY comfortable to sleep in.

Here are two different styling videos on doing this style, the first style is by Torrin Page and the second is by Haartraum.

I have not tried the style by Haartraum yet but I will definitely post a picture when I do.

The style of Flexi I am wearing is the Celtic knot and the same as the u-pins I used before (pictures above). It is an extra small and I only used it for decoration. The biggest Flexi I have used is a large and for my hair that was a little too big so a medium is the biggest I will use. This style of Flexi also comes in burnished copper, black, brass, and rose gold.

November 9th, 2019 ~ Day 9
Today, being wash day, I wanted to leave my hair down and loose. Therefore, all I did was pin it back with two bobby pins.

For this style, I just twisted a small section of hair and then loosened it a little with a hair stick.

I have a love-hate relationship with the Lilla Rose bobby pins. I have a hard time putting them in but once they are in they seem to stay put forever.

You can get these ladybug bobby pins here.

November 10th, 2019 ~ Day 10
As promised, today is a fancier style! It does look complicated on first appearance. However,  all that is required is a French braid.

I think that when I do this style again, I will tighten my braid a little more.

As you can see in the picture below, I decorated my hairstyle with four short u-pins and a headband.

After I put the headband on, I get a hair stick and slip it under my hair in front of the headband and gently lift my hair a bit.

Here is the video on how to do this style.

These are the butterfly u-pins and the turquoise headband.

You can find Part 2 of this journey Here.
