I am rather picky about what I put on my hair and body, therefore I wanted to make my own if possible.
I searched Google and I discovered a DIY recipe.
I have been very happy with it and I will now share this awesome—and easy—recipe which not only works like a charm but is also safe of any chemicals.
A batch of the original recipe lasts me a long time as I seldom use a dry shampoo—I will, therefore, include directions on how to make a smaller amount.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup arrowroot powder or cornstarch
2 tablespoons of cocoa powder for dark hair—omit if you have fair hair
Depending on how dark your hair is, you may need to add more cocoa powder until you are satisfied with the shade.
5 drops of the essential oil of your choice or none at all
Smaller Batch:
2 tablespoons of arrowroot powder or cornstarch
2 tablespoons of cocoa powder—omit if you have fair hair

Mix all the ingredients until well combined, that's it.
I use an old makeup brush to apply. I liked to section my hair and put it all over my scalp but that is optional.

You may also just apply it to your problem areas. I
It is perfectly acceptable to use this dry shampoo on a daily basis.
